Wyoming Workforce Development Training Fund This program was created during the 1997 General Session of the Wyoming Legislature to assist new and existing industries in the state with the training of their newly hired or current employees. The grant application and easy-to-follow instructions are available on the web; free application assistance, if needed, is available from the organizations listed below. From the Workforce Development Home Page scrolling menu under WDTF Applications and Instructions click either the New Positions Grants or Existing Positions Grants link then download the Application Form and the Application Instructions in Word Format.

Important Note: Applications must be made at least 45 days prior to the training.
Note: As of January 2006 Pre-Obligation Funds have been suspended, however there is still limited funding available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Help in completing the application form is available free of charge through local or regional representatives of most of the following:

  • DWS Workforce Centers
  • Economic Development Associations
  • Wyoming Business Council
  • Wyoming Community College Workforce Coordinators
  • Chambers of Commerce
  • Small Business Development Centers
